Baldur's Gate 3 and D&D

A few weeks ago I started my first D&D campaign and for my birthday Lizzie bought me a PS5, so naturally I picked up Baldur’s Gate 3 because a coworker said they sunk lots of time into it. So I hopped on YouTube and watched some gameplay videos and thought it looked quite interesting.

It’s based on the D&D system but has some difference. However, I’m entirely new to the system, so it worked out pretty well that it introduced me to some of the mechanics and allowed me to make some dumb mistakes in private rather than in the campaign sessions.

My first session I realized I missed a cleric attribute that would’ve been extremely useful, but I just entirely forgot about it. Playing some Baldur’s Gate actually taught me some useful things.
